This national resource center is an independent nonprofit educational association that assists individuals in locating resources to enhance their own well-being and health. The AMERICAN HOLISTIC MEDICAL ASSOCIATION is a membership organization for physicians who desire to practice a broader form of medicine which includes the holistic model. It supports and connects physicians through national and regional conferences as well as a variety of other informal means as they make the transition from traditional medicine to a more holistic approach. The AMERICAN HOLISTIC NURSES ASSOCIATION serves as the voice of holistic nursing. It is a bridge between traditional health practices and alternative health practices among nurses. The AHNA is a nonprofit educational organization. Membership is open to nurses and other professionals who are interested in holistic health care practices in the United States and across the globe. It supports the education of allied health practitioners, nurses and the general public about issues related to health. The AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF DRUGLESS PRACTITIONERS is a certification and accreditation board which is dedicated to promoting a more professional image among practitioners of traditional as well as non-traditional therapies.
